Mind Cure is focused on identifying and developing pathways and products that ease suffering, increase productivity, and enhance mental health. Mind Cure is interested in exploring diverse therapeutic areas beyond psychiatry, including digital therapeutics, neuro-supports, and psychedelics, all to improve mental health.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven VP Partnerships and Business Development to increase company revenue by identifying profitable business partnership opportunities and developing long-term business growth strategies and relationships. The responsibilities of the VP Partnerships and Business Development include recommending ways to improve operations planning, attending meetings with clients and advisors, and notifying partners of key business developments. You should also be able to assess business risks by analyzing financial, statistical, and economic data in partnership with forecasting and visioneering.

To be successful as the VP Partnerships and Business Development, you should be persuasive and have strong business acumen. Ultimately, an VP Partnerships and Business Development should be adept at negotiating sound business deals as well as demonstrating excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills in addition to keep trust and relationship building acumen. Your role will be primarily focused on:

  1. Building solid relationships with customers, vendors and distributors, as well as sales and marketing teams.
  2. Developing in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities.
  3. Directing marketing efforts by presenting market research to marketing manager and suggesting strategies to expand market research.
  4. Assessing marketing and sales as well as supplier and vendor operations and recommending improvements as needed.
  5. Creating a systematic, process-driven approach to partner outreach and relationship development.
  6. Identifyingand sourcing partnership opportunities, deeping research partners and creating detailed plans for mutual benefit
  7. Collaborating with senior management to align goals and partner relationships.
  8. Negotiating and finalizing deals in concert with our financial team.
  9. Delivering a great experience to our partners when working with our organization.
  10. Forecasting measuring and reporting the results of various projects with partners, including co-created, and/or co-branded content, promotions and partnership activities.
  11. Preparing all documentation required for requests for proposals (RFPs).
  12. Researching emerging trends and recommending new company offerings to satisfy customers’ needs.
  13. Developing and managing strategic partnerships to grow business.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field; Master's degree is advantageous
  • Proven business development, partnerships, sales, or marketing experience at a leadership level for a minimum of 3 years
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office365 applications
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills
  • Effective, if not outstanding communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Networking and relationship building aptitude
  • Ability to work cross functionally and multitask
  • Detail-oriented and persuasive
