Prohibition Partners LIVE is a hybrid events business which brings together people from every corner of the globe to help share knowledge, gain insight and shape the future of cannabis & psychedelics. Having moved our industry-leading conferences to digital platforms, we have brought delegates engaging content streams featuring C-suite speakers, influencers and celebrities across five virtual stages in 3 different global time zones.
The Role:
With the lack of physical, in person events, has become an even more integral part of our business. We are looking for an experienced professional to take the lead on all things related to the video element of our conferences and monthly webinars. Pre event we are looking for someone who can take the lead on all planning, pre-records, tech checks and promotional videos. During and post event, someone who can direct the sessions, edit them, and package them up into marketable bitesize & on-demand content.
Core Responsibilities:
Pre-event
- Producing polished pre-recorded content of interviews and panel talks including industry leaders and celebrities, through a virtual studio setup
- Creating short promotional videos for marketing purposes
- You handle all presenter trainings to ensure presenters are prepared for the event, understand how the platform works and have optimized video + audio quality
- Configure the webcasting platform for each event - making it broadcast ready
- Fully coordinate the production schedule
During & Post Event
- During event days - direct the live stream of content on a dedicated platform: streaming both pre-recorded sessions and live sessions, and vision mixing during both live sessions and pre-recorded sessions
- Editing sessions to be social media ready, engaging video clips for marketing purposes
- Responsible for making sure the event meets the client’s expectations from both a technical and service level aspect.
- You manage the live-event stream including handling all client content, live-switching video sources to seamlessly transition between presenters and troubleshoot any issues that come up.
- You oversee the virtual technical support team and manage any escalated issues from attendees or presenters during the live events
- Responsible for assisting in the management of content and preparing show rundown
- Ability to manage content distribution.
- Ability to help support daily 6-hour live stream of content.
- Ability to work with on-camera talent and provide direction based off guidance from the Producer.
Job Requirements
- Own virtual studio set-up (Streamyard, for example) which you use to pre-record speakers’ sessions and live-stream speakers from on to dedicate virtual event platform
- Knowledge of live-streaming pre-recorded content through Vimeo links
- Ability to tech-check all speakers
- Ability to explain to speakers how to look good on screen
- Ability to set up greenscreens and backgrounds remotely with speakers
- Ability to vision-mix
- Ability to edit videos
- Ability to create Motion Graphics
- Ability to create tutorial videos and content videos with voiceover
- Ability to read callsheets and show-schedules
What we offer:
- Day rate of approx £200 DOE
