Peak’s mission is to inspire everyone to achieve their best mental fitness. Our clients find relief from depression and anxiety within hours of ketamine therapy. The FDA has recently approved ketamine for treatment-resistant depression and our clients report breakthroughs in their mental health with our program. We’re on the precipice of a mental health revolution - as impactful as the discovery of penicillin for the modern world.

We are in need of Mental Health Coaches that have experience with psychedelics and/or ketamine. Coaches are at the heart of Peak’s revolutionary treatment program and they are the guides for each and every client. By leveraging a proprietary therapy program designed by our Lead Psychologist, coaches design personalized routines for each client and meet biweekly to integrate their experiences. Coaches make all the difference.

You are a fit if you are comfortable sharing your own mental health journey and can empathize with clients. You leap at the idea that psychedelics are changing the world. You crave telling stories of clients’ mental health journeys. Since we are a startup, you value pragmatism, speed, and impact over structure, systems, and guidance. We need you to be self-driven, autonomous, and outcomes-driven.

General Responsibilities

  • Provide reflections, validation, psychoeducation, open-ended questions, and supportive presence during 1:1 coaching sessions to meet each client where they’re at and guide them through the integration process
  • Track clients’ progress across their treatment program (engagement with integration exercises and coaching follow-ups, challenges and insights across the integration process, and experiences within ketamine sessions) to personalize their coaching programs and provide relevant support
  • Coordinate with the clinical and care coordination team as needed, to ensure a high-quality client experience
  • Learn Peak’s care philosophy and treatment protocols, so that you can provide knowledgeable support to clients as questions arise
  • Attend biweekly integration team meetings to share questions, feedback, and insights and to receive ongoing training and education

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Support a caseload of 80-100 clients and meet biweekly to review their ketamine experiences, discuss goals, and prepare programs
  • Follow Peak’s proprietary therapy program and create personalized plans weekly for each client
  • Create audio meditations and personalized supporting guidance weekly for each client
  • Attend biweekly integration team meetings to share questions, feedback, and insights and to receive ongoing training and education
  • Host your own class once per week on Peak’s platform for all clients to attend

Qualifications

  • Certification from a reputable program such as ICF or a Master’s degree in a mental health-related field
  • 6+ months of experience with 1:1 coaching
  • Reliable and very strong internet connection for video chats
  • Ability to hold compassionate, supportive, nonjudgmental space for clients in 1:1 sessions
  • Willingness to learn and follow the structure of Peak’s coaching program
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Ability to learn various processes and online platforms in a 100% remote startup
  • Strong organization, communication, and time management skills
  • Personal and/or professional experience with ketamine or psychedelic medicines
  • Understanding of the psychedelic journey and integration process
  • Understanding of mental health issues (depression, anxiety, PTSD, etc.)
  • Knowledge of tools, practices, and frameworks to improve psychological wellbeing
  • Commitment to personal growth, self-reflection, and self-awareness
  • Ability to give and receive feedback regarding areas of strength and challenge

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience facilitating support groups, online or in-person
  • Experience leading group classes, webinars, or presentations in a structured, clear, and engaging manner
  • Experience facilitating guided meditations and mindfulness exercises

Compensation

  • This is a full-time contractor, remote position with flexible hours
  • $20-25/hr
