Mind Cure’s new Health Center will work with individuals with mental health concerns and those looking to optimize their mental wellness to determine how psychedelic therapy can help them.

Mind Cure is hiring a Medical Center Manager to join our innovative psychedelic practice at our health center located in beautiful Kelowna, British Columbia. The ideal candidate for this position will have an interest in and/or experience working in a health and wellness center that focuses on the healing potential of alternate states of consciousness and a desire to learn and grow within this emerging field. Being compassionate, tech-savvy & open minded are a must. Your role will be primarily focused on:

  1. Managing the front of the medical center; You will be the first point of contact for everyone entering the medical center either in person, on the phone or by email. Being compassionate, patient, professional and calm in person, on the phone or written in an email are a must.
  2. Gatekeeper; You thrive on being able to multitask including answer phones, questions, helping receive clients at the cener and generally making sure that the front of the center is running smoothly.
  3. Client assessments; You will assist with sceduling client intake asseements and ensure that they have completed all pre-assessement paperwork and any onsite papwork upon arrival.
  4. Administration; You love to do administrative work including, typing, editing and proofreading documents and reports; maintaining client files both eletronic and paper; and ensuring the office equipment is running at peek performance (multifunction printer).

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Certificate in Medical Office Administration required
  • Experience in a health and wellness centre or medical clinic preferred
  • Strong computer skills as our center as we are as paperless as possible
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an enthusiastic, positive and friendly attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional phone etiquette and a strong understanding of the importance of responding promptly to requests
  • Ability to problem solve and work independently
  • Eager to take on challenges and adapt to new processes and procedures
  • Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize and maintain high levels of professionalism

Compensation:

This is expected to be a part-time role initially developing into a full-time role within one year. Ability to work Saturday may be required. Compensation will reflect experience and potential and will be agreed between the parties.
