At Sanctus we’re on a mission to change the perception of mental health and to make working on your mental health as accessible as working on your physical health.

We believe everyone in the UK should have access to a safe space like Sanctus at work and to be supported wherever they are at on their mental health journey.

Sanctus was founded in 2016 and over the last 4 years we have focused entirely on improving mental health in the workplace working with the fastest growing startups in the UK like Onfido and carwow, big brands like Red Bull and the BBC and huge enterprise partners like Boston Consulting Group and Ashfield Healthcare.

Right now, up to 1,000 people can book a Sanctus session at work every month and over the next 5 years our ambition is for 1000’s more people to have access to Sanctus at work.

In order to do that, our goal is to partner with businesses of all shapes and sizes in the UK and to become the mental health partner for organisations.

This is where you come in. We’re looking for someone to build our marketing strategy, scale out our marketing team and create the destination mental health brand for employers.

What You Will Do/About The Role

As the Head of Marketing, you will be joining the leadership team of one of the most well known brands in the mental health space and will play an instrumental role in helping us achieve the goal of taking Sanctus into some of the biggest brands and companies in the UK.

You will shape how we market our ever growing range of mental health products and interventions, creating opportunities for businesses of all shapes and sizes to engage with Sanctus. We aim to scale the business significantly over the coming years and you will play a foundational role in creating a disruptive, purpose led brand in the mental health and wellbeing space. We are just at the start of this journey so you will need to be willing to build from scratch, recruit, lead and shape a team and be committed to creating a culture that embodies the workplace of the future.

As Head of Marketing at Sanctus you will be responsible for:

  • Building the foundation of a brilliant marketing operations function that is delivering cutting edge mental health marketing campaigns via a combination of highly optimised channels and one of the leading community and brands built in the mental health field. Deep engagement with a growing sales function the head of marketing will need to balance ambitious growth targets with a strategy that is focused on careful curation of both personal and company brands.
  • Driving demand and lead generation by building, executing, managing, and optimizing the whole range of B2B campaign led activity.
  • Leading on brand and content strategy, helping the creative team meet the brand goals and user reach that will deliver the ambitious growth we have set for the next few years.
  • Challenging the leadership team and co creating our broader market strategy, embodying the coaching approach we want all workplaces to exhibit.
  • Understand and methodically target the ideal Sanctus customer segments within the B2B workplace space.
  • Identify new approaches / campaigns, as well as optimize existing ones including retargeting & remarketing across other channels of customer interaction
  • Compile, analyze, and own all ROI reporting
  • Optimize pages across all web assets to increase visitor conversion rates and improve search engine results placement
  • Use link-building strategies in conjunction with third party providers, in-page optimization, and other effective SEO techniques
  • Manage and report on efforts to improve organic search quality and quantity, conversion rates, and campaign performance
  • Building effective email campaigns, where required, to drive integrated user journeys, aiding optimisation efforts where required
  • Working across cross functional collaborative teams, demonstrating the necessary level of leadership skills that helps the entire organisation be high performing.

As we grow there’s also opportunity for progression towards a CMO role and broadening out of the marketing team(s).

We’re looking for someone who is extremely passionate not only about our mission, but also about customer experience and sales. We are looking for a marketing leader who has the technical, analytical and data driven experience but who can lead and develop an evolving team across the entire marketing ecosystem. We’re looking for someone who is creative, innovative and excited about building a fast-growing company that is on a mission to change the workplace for the better.

Skills And Experience

  • A proven track record in a B2B marketing capacity and your application will be preferenced if you have either;
  • Coaching experience and qualifications; OR
  • Experience of marketing into the HR and People community

Proven track record in building a successful, disruptive brand in the B2B space, ideally with some brand consumer experience too Prior experience in B2B marketing at a growth stage company, with ability to demonstrate ownership and impact of the business growth across marketing and wider business Demonstrated experience in ability to launch, execute and optimise growth marketing campaigns including, but not limited to, search marketing, social, brand, email. Technical marketer, and has experience of working with marketing techstack. Tracking software, ads, automation, retargeting campaigns, Google Analytics, Hubspot etc Experience of owning, testing and driving multiple demand generation B2B campaigns at scale to drive MQLs to sales Experience of running highly targeted campaigns, allowing us to fill our pipeline with more growth and enterprise businesses next year Ability to build strong relationships with the sales and marketing teams to align goals and identify revenue generating activity Experience of working with CRMs (ideally Hubspot) to centralise all marketing and sales activity in one place (ads, prospects, email lists, website forms, emails to clients, touch points etc) Has built and established the foundations of marketing tech, ops and automation within a business Excellent verbal and written communication and external presentation skills Experience of leading a marketing team

Life at Sanctus

We’re a team of 15 at HQ, 36 Sanctus Coaches and we have an incredible community of partners, made up of some of the most forward-thinking businesses in the world.

Our home is in Shoreditch, London but we’re currently working fully virtually due to Covid-19

In 2021 we’re looking to work flexibly with 1-2 days in the office and 3 days working remotely.

We have a very open and receptive culture towards mental health and you might find us talking about the meaning of life or the use of psychedelics in therapy over lunch.

Salary: Dependant on experience.
