Mind Cure is interested in exploring diverse therapeutic areas beyond psychiatry, including digital therapeutics, neuro-supports, and psychedelics, all to improve mental health.

Mind Cure’s new Health Center will work with individuals with mental health concerns or who want to simply optimize their mental wellbeing to determine how psychedelic assisted therapy can help them. The health center hours will from 8am to 6pm M-F and Saturday 9-4 PST.

Mind Cure is hiring a General Medical Practitioner licensed to practice in the Province of British Columbia through the College of Physicians & Surgeons of BC t to join our innovative psychedelic practice at our health center located in beautiful Kelowna, British Columbia. Our ideal candidate is compassionate, tech-savvy & open minded and have experience in Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and other forms of psychedelic research and treatment. Your role will be primarily focused on:

  1. Team Work; You will work with other members of the treatment team including psychotherapists and psychiatrists, to ensure that each client is properly assessed, informed and prescribed if appropriate. Clients are monitored in follow up for progress and potential side effects.
  2. Multidisciplinary Assessments: You will be part of a team-based, client-focused center providing comprehensive assessments for Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and other breakthrough psychedelic therapies.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Current licensed physician with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of BC
  • Work in a psychedelic treatment clinic setting
  • Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy experience or experience of this nature
  • Electronic charting and familiarity with conducting client follow up assessments remotely
  • Working within different time zones

Compensation:

This is expected to be a part-time role, moving to full time as the clinic expands. Compensation will reflect experience and potential and will be agreed between the parties.
