ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a motivated and highly skilled software developer who is comfortable working across both the front- and back-end of the product technology stack. Though technically well-rounded, the ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for front-end mobile app development and experience working with React Native and React. Our Full Stack Developer will be responsible for developing and designing front end architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, and working alongside our graphic designers to develop best-in-class user features, among other duties. The candidate will be a key member of our technology team and will have the opportunity to expand the feature-set of both our best-in-class mobile app and our proprietary client portal. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Developing front end architecture.
  • Designing user interactions on application pages.
  • Working alongside graphic designers for design features.
  • Designing and developing backend APIs.
  • Creating servers and databases for functionality.
  • Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
  • Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
  • Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
  • Staying abreast of developments in applications and programming languages.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field
  • 2-3 years of experience with Django and Python 
  • 2-3 years of experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React or React Native. 
  • 4-5 years of experience with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle and PostgreSQL.
  • Proficiency with fundamental front end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
