Description
Psychedelic and Plant Medicine experiences can challenge us to change our sense of who we really are, who we want to relate to, what work we want to do, and what our past was really about. Support for these changes is sorely needed and often not provided during or directly after the experiences.
By the end of this course you will be better able to:
Describe the guiding principles of integration including preparation, harm reduction, navigating non-ordinary consciousness, and self-care.
Describe a practical model of consciousness for a framework for integration. This will help normalize non-ordinary states as well as connect us to parts of ourselves, our ancestors, future self and intuitive capacities.
Put in place ritual or ceremony that opens and closes sacred space. This creates boundaries and reinforces the notion of safety, interconnectedness and community.
Recommend safe support services for teenagers interested in psychedelics and plant medicines.
