Cannabis & Medical Emergencies

In this course, Kevin Takakuwa, MD explores the essential knowledge for practitioners on cannabis and its context in emergency medicine. Course participants will learn the subject areas of acute cannabis care, including intoxication and overdose, pediatric exposure, cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome, and cannabis withdrawal. Dr. Takakuwa also highlights concerns on synthetic cannabinoids and E-cigarette or vaping product-associated lung injury.
