How I Work

My clinic, Ahara Health, is a complementary medicine and natural health clinic in Newport on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. The word ahara originates from the Ayurvedic practice of ‘using food to nourish ones body and mind’. It is with these principles that Ahara Health was established.
I have a unique and individualized focus on health, using naturopathic and whole food nutritional principles to nourish the body and mind, boost health, and support overall wellness.
Ahara practitioners have a passion for nutritional and western herbal medicine, using food to nourish the body and lifestyle influences to encourage wellbeing.
I care about you. My aim is to support individuals and families to reach their health goals, develop simple and achievable lifestyle changes, and establish the healthy lifestyle that we all crave. Most of all, I want my clients to learn along the way, and fall in love with health. I have a passion for continued education, participate in continued learning, and use evidence-based learning as well as practitioner experience to establish short and long term treatment protocols. I also strive to reduce waste, plastic, paper and our daily chemical load. All of my products are selected based on this goal – to support the environment and the health of each other.
